## About the Role

This is a permanent, work from home position for a managed IT service company providing IT support for local businesses. However, you MUST be local to the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years' experience working for another MSP, and a minimum of 5 years of hands on IT support experience.

As an IT Support Technician, you will be required to resolve computer, network and server technical issues by phone, remote, and onsite. This is a full-time position (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm). There will be occasional after hours' work, and you will be a part of an on-call rotation.

Experience with ground up implementation of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare, Terminal Services, or Office 365 is desired.

 - Candidates MUST have a quiet and dedicated work area at home.
 - Candidates MUST have reliable transportation for occasional onsite support.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands on experience working in a professional environment with the following technologies:

 * Windows 7 and higher
 * Windows Server 2012 and higher
 * Office 365
 * Microsoft Office 2016 and higher
 * Active Directory
 * DNS
 * DHCP
 * TCP/IP
 * Remote Desktop Services
 * Print Queue Configuration and TCP/IP Printing
 * Spyware and virus removal
 * Hardware break/fix
 * Excellent customer service skills
