Must be able to attain hospital credentialing to access facilities Preferred Skills and Experience * MBA * Product Management experience in Medical Device Industry * Professional engineering experience in highly regulated industry (example med device) preferred in software or hardware development ## Description You will become a member of the da Vinci® Multiport Global Product Management team helping to lead development and support multiple generations of system platform solutions across their lifecycle. This is an individual contributor role and will report to a Group Product Manager. As an upstream strategic and product management expert, you will work with cross-functional partners to guide successful product launches and provide strategic expertise throughout the product development and global launch phases. You will become a key development and design stage stakeholder for multiple projects and will be a global system portfolio expert helping to guide future portfolio strategy recommendations and budgeting., * Customer Needs: Build a VOC engine spanning surgeons, OR staff, and admins; synthesizing into problem statements and user journeys. Define and maintain user needs, scenarios, and priority jobs-to-be-done for console and tower. * Requirements: Convert user needs into product requirements (functional, performance, safety, usability, service, and integration requirements) with rationale and acceptance criteria for console and tower. * Cross-Functional Alignment: Build trusted partnerships with engineering, clinical, human factors, industrial design, and regulatory teams-becoming the recognized authority on console and tower system direction. Drive human factors studies and incorporate findings into design iterations * Clinical Grounding: Develop deep understanding of surgical workflows, surgeon ergonomics, and OR environment constraints through direct observation and physician engagement * Trade offs: Make disciplined trade-off decisions between features, timeline, cost, and regulatory complexity.
