## About the Role

The successful candidate's background will include:

 * BS in Engineering or comparable degree, with strong background in fluids and thermodynamics (required).
 * Good communication skills / phone skills (required).

 * Proficiency in G-Suite and 3D Modeling / CAD experience (preferred).

## Description

We are seeking individuals who have an interest in technical problem solving to fill the position of System Design Engineer for our Fredericksburg location. The System Design group plays a key role in growing Kaeser's market share by helping to design compressed air systems throughout the country. Come work with this highly skilled group, who will help train you and prepare you for the next step in your engineering career.

Duties include:

 * Generating compressed air energy audits based on field-submitted data.
 * Designing compressor stations to meet customers' specifications. This includes performing energy analyses, and creating P&I diagrams, CAD layouts, and electrical diagrams.
 * Designing new products, and developing / modifying existing Kaeser products based on market needs and customer requirements.
