Lockheed Martin is designing, developing, and delivering a next-gen wideband MILSATCOM system comprised of integrated space and ground segments that will provide enhanced communications capacity, flexibility and resiliency. This position will be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in support of the final design, development, production, integration, test, and delivery of this critical capability focused on the requirements development, decomposition, and verification. In this role you will: * Lead the Requirements and Verification Engineering and Architecture and Analysis teams supporting the next-gen wideband MILSATCOM system. This includes leading efforts to: * Lead the development, allocation, and flow-down of both performance and functional requirements from the system to it's constituent segments and elements * Coordinate closely across the SEIT team and with lower-tier systems, hardware, and software engineers to ensure a comprehensive allocation and understanding of the system requirements * Lead the develop verification and validation plans; lead the applicable verification and validation activities ensuring the systems both meets requirements and performs as needed * Lead key program design reviews Multiple locations available for this position. This position is contingent on program award, expected in 3Q 2026. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
