This individual will serve as a key contributor in the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reporting solutions, SQL Server databases, and SSIS-based ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Microsoft BI professional capable of independently owning projects from requirements gathering through implementation and deployment. This role requires a balanced skillset across Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, data warehousing, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will help source, transform, model, and visualize data that drives operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. The hiring manager is specifically seeking a more senior-level resource who can operate with minimal oversight while delivering high-quality technical solutions. Technical capability is important, but attitude, initiative, coachability, and communication skills are equally critical for success. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Meet with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and visualizations Build and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and complex T-SQL queries Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS packages and ETL workflows Source, integrate, transform, and validate data from multiple systems and data sources Support data warehouse and reporting environments through ongoing enhancements and maintenance Deploy and support reporting solutions in Power BI Service Troubleshoot performance issues related to reporting, ETL processes, and database operations Support and maintain SQL Server Agent jobs while helping modernize and improve existing processes Develop technical documentation, data definitions, and support materials Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions Provide regular project updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
