What You'll Do The Network Engineering Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of Soluna's networks and will ensure maximum uptime while continuously improving resiliency, security, and maintainability throughout the engagement. This role will include designing, documenting, and increasing the security of new and existing networks. Responsibilities will include life cycle management, change control processes, new deployments, network traffic analysis, and maintenance of existing networks. This engagement will require periodic travel to Soluna facilities for network maintenance, upgrades, and initial standup. Our ideal consultant will work with our Network Architect to create and maintain our networks, they are the backbone of our business. This role is key to ensuring maximum uptime for each data center location throughout the engagement. If you are a hands-on problem solver who owns their work, knows when to ask the right questions, and is eager to contribute to the future of digital assets, this engagement will be a great fit. The Network Engineering Consultant will work as part of the Engineering organization for the duration of the 12-month engagement, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and IT. Our ideal consultant is self-directed, detail-oriented, works well across cross-functional teams, and is driven to identify the true root cause of an issue. This role will report directly to the VP, Engineering.
