## About the Role

* Strong proficiency in full stack development and React-this shouldn't be your first engineering role, but we care more about what you can build than years on a resume
 * AI-native: you're already using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools daily and you'd feel slower without them
 * You launch things. You have a track record of shipping products or features from idea to production, not just contributing to existing codebases
 * You thrive on proximity to customers-you'd rather watch someone use your product and iterate on the spot than wait for a bug report
 * Self-starter who sees problems and fixes them without waiting for permission
 * Relentlessly fast: you thrive on shipping quickly and iterating based on real user feedback
 * High standards for code quality-fast doesn't mean sloppy
 * Comfortable with ambiguity and the pace of a fast-growing startup
 * Business-minded: you understand how your technical decisions impact growth and customer experience, * Experience with our specific stack (Go, TypeScript, React, Temporal)
 * Startup experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
 * Experience working directly with founders or as a product engineer
 * Background in marketplace or healthcare tech

This Role Isn't for You If:

 * You prefer large, established companies with defined processes and slow release cycles
 * You're uncomfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
 * You'd rather be heads-down in code than talking to customers and operators
 * You're not excited about wearing multiple hats and doing whatever it takes
 * You think AI coding tools are a gimmick or a crutch
 * You only want remote work-this role is in-person in Austin
