* You have 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade data pipelines
 * You have a strong understanding of scalable, performant data modeling patterns across structured and unstructured data sources
 * You have a proven ability to work cross-functionally to design data architectures that support analytics, machine learning, and experimentation
 * You have experience building and operating fault-tolerant, distributed systems
 * You have hands-on experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS or GCP
 * You are a self-starter who thrives in an environment with high ownership, limited process, and lots of autonomy
 * You care deeply about building reliable systems that solve real customer and business problems, * You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.
 * You have a BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or a related field
 * You have experience with analytics and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
 * You have prior experience building data platforms or products from 0 to 1 in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
 * You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.

## Description

* You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, machine learning, experimentation, and product use cases
 * You will ensure data quality and reliability by implementing audits, alerting, and anomaly detection at scale
 * You will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver trusted, actionable data
 * You will contribute to shared data engineering tooling, standards, and best practices to improve team productivity and output quality
 * You will help establish long-term data architecture that scales with Tarro's growth
