While you'll work across the stack, you'll spend the majority of your time on backend services, database design, and infrastructure - building the foundation that powers the platform. You will take product requirements and turn them into polished, production-ready features, working closely with engineering leadership, product, and customer-facing teams. What You'll Do * Build features end-to-end from spec - Take detailed product requirements and deliver complete, tested implementations across frontend and backend * Design and maintain database schemas - Write migrations, optimize query performance, and ensure data integrity at scale * Build and improve backend services - Develop APIs, data pipelines, and core platform services * Own infrastructure work - CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/alerting, deployment automation, and reliability improvements * Solve complex implementation challenges - Debug thorny integration issues, optimize performance bottlenecks, and architect reliable solutions * Troubleshoot production issues - Diagnose and resolve incidents across the stack with a focus on reliability and uptime * Write and maintain automated tests - Unit, integration, and e2e to ensure production quality, You will work directly with Blee's engineering and product leadership, collaborating closely with the PM, engineering team, and customer-facing teams., We have offices in New York and San Francisco and value in-person collaboration, but we're open to remote for the right person.
