## About the Role

* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in software / computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6+ years of professional experience.

 * Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position.

 * Demonstrated understanding of data fusion techniques, sensor discrimination/classification of objects, and AI/ML classification techniques.

 * Demonstrated experience in design, development, testing, and documentation of complex mathematical algorithms.

 * Demonstrated experience in data analysis of complex algorithms and software, including utilizing metrics and visualizations to ensure product performance.

 * Experience with strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review system behavior issues, identify root cause and recommend a solution.

 * The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work independently, and be able to work in a highly dynamic environment

 * Candidate will need to be able to work with multiple disciplinary teams including Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, Deployment and Warfighter Support to help ensure mission success.

Desired Skills

Experience in the following:

 * Data Fusion techniques, AI/ML Classification techniques, Sensor Discrimination, Signal Processing, Kalman Filtering

 * Understanding of radar track states and data

 * Utilizing whitepapers, algorithm design documents, or other standalone design to develop and improve Java based real-time algorithms

 * Understanding of design, development, and optimization of real-time Java applications

 * Agile Development Experience

 * Missile Defense Domain experience

 * Developing new capabilities into a legacy software system

 * Development of complex mathematical algorithms from design documents

 * SW analysis against performance requirements

 * Resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc

 * Familiarity with DevSecOps, Build and test pipelines, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle

 * Automated unit testing frameworks
