The section's objective is to provide technical analysis of system test data in support of the program reliability and maintainability concept, logistics support to the maintenance facilities around the world, full time on-site support at one CONUS maintenance facility, and on-site support for other facilities as-required. In this position, the tasking includes, but is not limited to: coordinating technical support to assure Customer Satisfaction; provide back-up technical support to Customer Depots around the world when on-site technical personnel cannot resolve problems; propose changes to Depot hardware and software based upon obsolescence/upgrades/updates to factory test equipment and procedures; maintain configuration at the Depots as required by approved changes to the hardware/software associated with the system and test equipment; update, validate, and distribute Depot operational procedures as well as initiate, validate and distribute new procedures as program needs and system changes require; provide training for Depot personnel on upgraded equipment; and modify Depot equipment and software as a result of approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Work with other directorates on providing new test system solutions.
