Billing sits at the center of how our customers run their businesses, and as we've grown (and as we lean heavily into AI-assisted development), securing our infrastructure, our code, and the way we ship has become a full-time job of its own. You'll make the secure path the default across our AWS environment and our codebase, working directly with our engineering lead and partnering closely with Adyen's security organization. In this role you will: * Own application and infrastructure security across our AWS environment - threat-modeling new systems, reviewing designs and code, and fixing the issues you find * Own identity and access - from least-privilege IAM to how engineers and AI agents get scoped, auditable access to production * Set the security baseline for the whole engineering org, turning one-off fixes into durable controls that make the secure path the default * Build security into how we ship, partnering with the platform team on CI/CD and developer tooling * Shape how AI coding agents operate safely against real systems - one of the more interesting security problems we have * Partner closely with Adyen's security organization, bringing their scale and practices to bear as we grow, At Orb, we believe great engineers can learn any stack, so you do not need experience with these specific tools, and we encourage you to apply regardless. * Frontend: Typescript + React + Tailwind CSS * Backend: Python * Datastores: PostgreSQL + Apache Druid+ Clickhouse * Streaming Platforms: Kafka + Spark Streaming * Cloud Platform: AWS ## Related Videos - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Level up your Angular CSS with Tailwind CSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/640-level-up-your-angular-css-with-tailwind-css) - [You can’t hack what you can’t see](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/41-you-can-t-hack-what-you-can-t-see) - [Why Security-First Development Helps You Ship Better Software Faster](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1568-why-security-first-development-helps-you-ship-better-software-faster) - [Level up your Angular CSS with Tailwind CSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/366-level-up-your-angular-css-with-tailwind-css) - [From Zero to Hero: NextJS 13 and Tailwind CSS for Beginners](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/766-from-zero-to-hero-nextjs-13-and-tailwind-css-for-beginners) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 129 - Now that's what I call private data!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/468-dev-digest-129-now-that-s-what-i-call-private-data) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Dev Digest 139 - Soft and hard queries](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/487-dev-digest-139-soft-and-hard-queries) - [The Best X (Twitter) Accounts for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/294-the-best-x-twitter-accounts-for-developers)
