* Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
 * 5-8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems hosted in cloud (AWS strongly preferred)
 * Geospatial data experience - worked with spatial data systems, tile serving, coordinate systems, or related tooling in a production environment
 * Production software delivery across the full lifecycle from design to deployment to support of large-scale distributed systems
 * 24x7 operational environments - worked with mission-critical systems where trustworthiness and reliability matter
 * Multi-project execution - successfully supported 3-5+ concurrent technical initiatives to completion
 * LLM and modern AI integration - practical experience with APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, or similar capabilities
 * Production-level proficiency in Java or GoLang
 * Strong communication skills and comfort working in a high-ownership environment

## Description

* Champion thoughtful AI adoption, helping teams embrace intelligent automation while maintaining trust and reliability
 * Modernize select legacy systems by proposing sustainable replacements when they block automation opportunities
 * Influence technical direction across SSDS development and operational support teams beyond your direct scope
 * Manage multiple concurrent projects, supporting the advancement of 3-5+ initiatives from assessment through production deployment and sustaining engineering
 * Design, build, and maintain high-scale services that ingest, store, transform, and distribute geospatially referenced data in a cloud environment
 * Drive innovation in how consumer, aviation, and B2B datasets are visualized and delivered
 * Support and evolve internal tooling that enables sellers, product owners, and support teams to access and expand the SSDS product catalog
 * Contribute to cost optimization, security compliance, and platform reliability across a large distributed service fleet
 * Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) daily as a force multiplier in your engineering workflow
 * Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and external enterprise clients
