## About the Role

We care more about what you have built than how long you have been building. A junior engineer with an impressive portfolio and strong communication skills is a real candidate here., * BS in Computer Science, or strong demonstrated evidence of engineering ability.

 * 1 to 2 years of experience is acceptable for an exceptional learner. 2 to 5 years is also welcome.
 * An impressive portfolio. A link is required with your application and must be shared before the skills interview.
 * Full-stack capability that goes beyond JavaScript and TypeScript. You have used higher-level software libraries to build real customer solutions.
 * Strong communication skills and genuine comfort in client-facing settings.
 * Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specs independently.
 * Fast learner who is comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Nice to Have

 * Familiarity with LiveKit, Twilio, or the OpenAI API.
 * Experience in healthcare, digital health, or another regulated environment.

Work Environment

 * NYC preferred. Excellent candidates can work remotely.
 * We have video on for our weekly team syncs and pair-coding/tech discussions. Camera is required to be on during meetings.

## Description

* Partner directly with clients to understand their workflows, constraints, and goals.
 * Ask the clarifying questions that turn a vague ask into a buildable requirement.
 * Translate client needs into technical specifications and implement them end to end.
 * Build customer-facing solutions across the stack using modern, high-level libraries and frameworks.
 * Deploy, support, and iterate on solutions in live client environments.
 * Feed patterns from client work back into the core product so the same problem doesn't get solved twice.
 * Represent Flagler credibly in technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders.
