## About the Role

Knowledge such as that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years of college, technical or vocational school in Electronics Technology or a related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in computers, electronic components and repairs; or in computers, networks, and data communications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience., * Requires valid vehicle operator's license where needed to perform duties of the position.

 * Crestron control system and Q-sys programming and installation experience. BIAMP DSP experience.
 * This position requires or will require prior to the completion of the probationary period: knowledge of basic personal computer terminology and operations, and the ability to use e-mail and the Internet.

## Description

The University Repair & Network Technician II will be responsible for providing technical support to more than 350 centrally managed classrooms and additional departmental classrooms and conference rooms., Reporting to the AV/IT Integration Manager, the University Repair & Network Technician II will primarily perform the following duties:

 * Install, configure, maintain, and repair audiovisual equipment, including projectors, displays, audio systems, cameras, control systems, and related technologies.
 * Respond to service requests and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize classroom downtime.
 * Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades to ensure reliable operation.
 * Support major university events, including Football and Hockey games, conferences, VIP events, and other campus functions.
