Preferred Skills * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). * Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift experience. * Kafka or other messaging platforms. * Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies. * Knowledge of payment security standards such as PCI DSS. * Experience working with financial institutions or payment processors., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams. Nice to Have * Experience with FIS payment products. * Exposure to real-time payment systems. * Experience in payment modernization or payment switch migration initiatives. * Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Connex Payment Switch to join our payment technology team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and supporting high-volume payment switching applications, along with a solid background in Java-based enterprise application development.
