It primarily involves generating analysis, reporting, recommendations, and measurement methodologies using statistics, data science, and business intelligence tools. The role differentiates itself by leading collaborative efforts across multiple teams to address complex measurement, modeling, and analysis requests. Success is measured by the quality of insights provided, rigor and scalability of measurement approaches, effectiveness of communication, and impact on decision-making processes.
