## About the Role

* Work closely with internal IT groups and outside partners to connect Salesforce with related enterprise applications and external tools. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience working in Salesforce development, including collaboration with administrators and development team members.
 * Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce platform design principles, secure development practices, and data governance concepts.
 * Proficiency with Salesforce development, platform configuration, Lightning Platform capabilities, API-based integrations, and related implementation work.
 * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues and assess business needs effectively.
 * Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work productively with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
 * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
 * Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Sharing and Visibility Architect are highly valued.
 * Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery methods and familiarity with nonprofit-focused Salesforce solutions such as NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud are beneficial. * Build, customize, and launch Salesforce solutions that support nonprofit operations, including tailored applications, workflow automation, and connected system integrations.
 * Partner with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to gather needs, clarify objectives, and convert requirements into practical Salesforce designs.
 * Maintain the Salesforce platform through thoughtful configuration, performance tuning, and proactive support to promote reliability and usability.
 * Establish and follow disciplined development practices covering code quality, testing, documentation, and responsible data management.
 * Review peer development work, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain consistent technical standards across the team.
 * Evaluate new Salesforce releases and features, recommending and applying enhancements that add value to the organization.
