We will teach you the managed services side. * Exposure to Intune, Windows Autopilot or Group Policy: a plus, not a requirement at this level. * CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MS-900, held now or a stated plan to earn one. Network+, Security+ or MS-102 are a bonus, not an expectation at this level. * Any PowerShell scripting, even self-taught. Who Succeeds Here * Strong work ethic and self-motivated: you drive tickets to closure without being chased. * You bring real curiosity and drive about applying AI to streamline the service desk, cutting handle time, sharpening triage, and improving how the whole queue performs, not just your own tickets. * You write clearly to non-technical people and stay calm on the phone under pressure. * You want to be measured on response time, first-touch resolution, and what you learned this quarter. ## Description Vann Data is an established managed IT services provider in the Daytona Beach area, hiring a Tier 1 help desk technician to be the first point of contact for business clients across a wide range of industries. This is a genuine entry point into managed services and AI Enablement: you will live in the queue, learn the stack client by client, answer fast, fix what you can at first touch, and escalate cleanly when a ticket is beyond your skillset. Escalations, full stack deployments, AI readiness work and client workshops belong to our Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineers. That is the work you grow toward here, not the work you start with. The path up is real, and we help get you there. What You Will Be Working In (We Will Train You on the Rest) * Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD): user and group administration, license assignment, MFA enrollment and resets, password and lockout resolution. * Active Directory: creating and disabling users, group membership, share and NTFS permissions, drive mapping. * Outlook and Exchange Online: client and profile issues, shared mailboxes, calendar permissions, basic mail delivery troubleshooting. * Email security: spam and phishing triage, quarantine review and release, allow and block list requests. * Windows 10 and 11 endpoints: setup and deployment, driver and firmware updates, performance and application troubleshooting. * Printers, scanners and multifunction devices: driver installation, scan-to-folder and scan-to-email configuration. * Networking fundamentals: a working grasp of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP, and the willingness to learn structured troubleshooting from the endpoint outward. * Wireless: access point and SSID configuration, authentication failures, coverage, interference and roaming issues. * Remote access: VPN client setup, MFA-protected remote sessions, and connectivity triage. * Security fundamentals: least-privilege thinking, recognizing a phishing attempt, and knowing when something is a possible incident to escalate rather than quietly resolve. * AI is part of the job: use AI assistants daily to research errors, draft clear resolution notes, and turn fixes you have made into knowledge base articles other technicians can follow. ## Related Videos - [Passkeys: Truly Phishing-Resistant?
