In addition, the successful candidate will have strong project management skills, strong engineering depth, and experience leveraging an AI-first mindset across end-to-end development workflows., * Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 4+ years experience as a Software Developer using object-oriented programming to build scalable applications. * Leadership experience in a team-oriented workplace, including success with coaching, development, and performance management of direct reports. * Experience managing or providing direction to a UX designer or design function, including reviewing prototypes and giving meaningful design feedback. * Technical proficiency with Google BigQuery, cloud-native data pipelines (GCP preferred), Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Hands-on experience across full-stack technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Storybook, Node.js, Go, Python) and distributed source control tools (Git). * Proven experience leveraging AI to write code, optimize workflows, and streamline development processes. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. ## Description We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Software Development Team Lead, Altitude who will lead a small cross-functional team - including engineers and UX - building Altitude by Geotab's transportation intelligence platform. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader - we would love to hear from you!, * Direct software development projects; develop and implement efficient, clean code with assigned team that satisfies customer requirements. All accomplished with an AI first mindset.
