The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer having knowledge of complex system design with excellent problem solving skills. DAAS is a nascent initiative and you'll have the opportunity to affect its direction. You'll take the lead in bringing in new ideas, testing and validating them quickly and independently, and incorporating them while socializing them with the team., * Masters in Computer Science and 2+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer with a focus on Java and Node.js or 4+ years of experience and Bachelors in Computer Science. * Experience with SQL Server and/or MongoDB - writing efficient queries, designing schemas, and ensuring data security. * Familiarity with designing, building, and maintaining RESTful web APIs. * Familiarity with software development best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit testing. * Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools. * Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues. * Passion for developing software and continuous improvement. * Strong desire to seek pragmatic, innovative solutions to complex business and technical problems. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams including customer support, product, and engineering.
