## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and advance these core libraries. This person will extend rendering capabilities, strengthen the underlying architecture, and create scalable foundations that other engineering teams can build upon. Deep, hands-on experience with map and geospatial visualization is required for this role., * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

 * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in React and modern TypeScript.
 * Hands-on experience with deck.gl, Mapbox GL, MapLibre, or a comparable WebGL-based mapping or 3D visualization library.
 * Strong knowledge of geospatial data concepts, including coordinate systems, tiling, and vector and raster rendering.
 * Experience designing and maintaining libraries or platforms used by other engineering teams, with a strong focus on correctness, modularity, testability, and code quality., * Experience working with large-scale geospatial datasets in autonomous vehicle, mapping, or GIS environments.
 * Familiarity with WebGL and GPU rendering performance optimization.
 * Demonstrated success providing technical mentorship and collaborating across teams on shared infrastructure.
