## About the Role

* 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
 * 5+ years of hands-on experience with TI DSP platforms (C7xxx, C66x, or equivalent).
 * Strong expertise in RTOS environments such as TI SYS/BIOS, FreeRTOS, or similar.
 * Experience with audio subsystem bring-up, including ALSA, Audio HAL, codec integration, I2S, and SoundWire.
 * Knowledge of functional safety concepts, including lockstep architectures, self-test libraries, and FTTI modeling.
 * Strong programming skills in C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based systems.
 * Experience with TI Code Composer Studio (CCS) and embedded development toolchains.
 * Strong hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.

## Description

* Lead bring-up and integration of the DSP subsystem and safety processor on the iRDK platform.
 * Own the real-time audio pipeline, including codec integration, Audio HAL development, latency characterization, and validation.
 * Integrate and validate safety subsystems, including lockstep cores, safety monitors, and FTTI analysis.
 * Serve as the primary technical interface for DSP firmware, development tools, and vendor support teams.
 * Validate real-time performance and audio quality against program acceptance criteria.
 * Document DSP, audio, and safety subsystem bring-up status for program reviews and milestones.
 * Perform hardware-level debugging and troubleshooting using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
