## About the Role

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experience
 * Good oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
 * Ability to adapt, multi-task, and manage changing priorities
 * Self-motivated, ability to learn and apply new skills quickly

Desired knowledge and skills

A candidate with any of the following will be at an advantage:

 * Knowledge of the data center domain and DCIM tools
 * Working experience with Linux based environments (RHEL/Rocky preferred)
 * Java, ANSI SQL, and general programming skills
 * Experienced in using PostgreSQL, Jira, or GitHub
 * Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, docker)
 * Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Ruby, Python, Perl)

## Description

* Trouble shoot field issues to reproduce and when possible, identify the root cause
 * Work with the rest of the team as needed to create scripts or procedures to correct problems in deployed systems
 * Provide clear and timely communication to keep all relevant parties informed
 * Document information and transfer knowledge so that fewer issues are escalated from TS to engineering
 * Lead internal and customer-facing calls as needed
