This is a rare opportunity to launch your career at the intersection of world-class networking, AI/ML, and high-performance computing in a firm that moves at the speed of the markets. If you're excited to build and optimize the infrastructure that powers cutting-edge trading and research, we want to hear from you. ## Description I am working directly with the VP of network infrastructure at a global trading leader. They are looking for multiple entry-level/junior network engineers. They will consider Home lab, school, and internship experience. As a Network Engineer on the Network Services team, you will gain exposure to one of the largest and most complex low-latency network topologies in the industry. We own the monitoring, maintenance, and global support of enterprise network infrastructure - powering everything from ultra-low-latency trading to large-scale AI/ML training clusters and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Our mission is to continually evolve the network while making heavy investments in automation, AI/ML-driven operations, and next-generation HPC fabrics. Joining Network Services is the first step in building a high-impact engineering career. In addition to troubleshooting complex issues across our global environment, you will be expected to identify and implement innovative solutions - many of which leverage AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection, predictive capacity planning, and automated root-cause analysis. You will actively contribute to network design discussions, participate in solution deployments, and help shape the future of our AI-augmented network monitoring, configuration management, and orchestration platforms. Exposure to a variety of tech We operate a diverse, cutting-edge technology stack to keep our network at peak performance. You will gain hands-on experience with WAN, LAN, Enterprise and Carrier Networking, as well as AI/ML-powered network intelligence tools, high-speed HPC interconnects (InfiniBand, RoCE, Ethernet fabrics), and large-scale data-center networking that supports our GPU clusters and quantitative research platforms. Through structured team rotations you will partner directly with senior engineers and technical leads on a wide range of projects. You'll begin with core operational tasks and quickly progress to developing and deploying company-wide solutions - including AI-driven traffic optimization, ML-based forecasting models for network health, and high-performance fabric upgrades. We collaborateOur team works closely with fellow technologists, business stakeholders, and specialized groups across the firm. Understanding real-time demands from trading desks, AI research teams, and HPC workloads is critical. You will coordinate configuration changes, perform root-cause analysis with AI-assisted tooling, recommend network optimizations, and contribute to firm-wide initiatives such as new hardware rollouts, AI/ML platform networking, and next-gen HPC cluster builds.Hands-on Learning. You learn by doing - with guidance and mentoring from day one. You'll spend time in our labs testing new configurations, validating AI/ML models for network telemetry, and simulating HPC workloads before production deployment. Rotations with Networking Engineers are complemented by opportunities to collaborate with our Security, Windows, Linux, Virtualization, Storage, DevOps, AI/ML Infrastructure, and HPC teams, giving you broad exposure across the full technology stack. What we're looking for ## Related Videos - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [#90DaysOfDevOps - The DevOps Learning Journey](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/548-90daysofdevops-the-devops-learning-journey) - [Git for Code Reviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/429-git-for-code-reviews) ## Related Articles - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [7 Cloud Computing Trends Coming in 2025 for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/412-7-cloud-computing-trends-coming-in-2025-for-developers) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [The Fastest-Growing Tech Sectors to Look Out for in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/373-the-fastest-growing-tech-sectors-to-look-out-for-in-2025)
