## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional web development experience, with significant focus on WordPress
 * Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (vanilla and/or modern frameworks)
 * Hands-on experience building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
 * Experience with WordPress VIP, including familiarity with its hosting environment, deployment workflows, and code standards
 * Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools
 * Experience integrating HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
 * Understanding of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO
 * Solid grasp of WordPress security best practices and site hardening
 * Experience with Git-based version control workflows
 * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
 * Strong written communication skills for async collaboration

Nice to Haves

 * Experience with B2B tech or cybersecurity companies
 * Familiarity with headless WordPress or REST API integrations

## Description

This position is remote, based in the U.S. with optional travel quarterly for in-person company events and other ad hoc meetings.

 * Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas.

Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based web properties, including custom themes and plugins
 * Build and update landing pages, campaign pages, and site sections in close collaboration with Marketing and Design
 * Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
 * Optimize site performance including page speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO best practices
 * Manage WordPress configuration, plugin updates, and security hardening
 * Integrate third-party tools and APIs including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
 * Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues in a timely manner
 * Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow established development standards
 * Support QA and testing processes to ensure consistent, high-quality releases
 * Collaborate asynchronously with a remote-first team across Marketing, Design, and Operations
