Additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time or the scope of the job may change as needed by business demands. ## Description The Dynamic Scheduler DSP Algorithm Engineer designs and optimizes a resource-allocation algorithm for the satellite payload system, working at the intersection of combinatorial optimization, signal processing, and system-level performance trade-offs. This person designs, analyzes, and improves optimization algorithms for large-scale resource-allocation problems, balancing competing system objectives - efficiency, coverage, and performance - and validating solutions against simulation and real system metrics rather than theoretical guarantees alone. The role requires strong communication skills and comfort working across algorithm, system, and hardware constraints to ensure solutions scale efficiently to large problem sizes., * Design, analyze, and improve optimization algorithms for large-scale resource-allocation problems. * Balance competing system objectives (efficiency, coverage, performance) and formalize the trade-offs involved. * Validate algorithms against simulation and real system metrics, not just theoretical guarantees. * Ensure solutions scale efficiently to large problem sizes. ## Related Videos - [Remote Driving on Plant Grounds with State-of-the-Art Cloud Technologies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/251-remote-driving-on-plant-grounds-with-state-of-the-art-cloud-technologies) - [How To Test A Ball of Mud](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/173-how-to-test-a-ball-of-mud) - [Introducing a Digital Service Catalog for speed and scale](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/763-introducing-a-digital-service-catalog-for-speed-and-scale) - [Leveraging Large Language Models for Legacy Code Translation: Challenges and Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1157-leveraging-large-language-models-for-legacy-code-translation-challenges-and-solutions) - [How I Built QA from Scratch in a Scaling Startup - no fluff real life story](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2041-how-i-built-qa-from-scratch-in-a-scaling-startup-no-fluff-real-life-story) - [Building high performance and scalable architectures for enterprises](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/19-building-high-performance-and-scalable-architectures-for-enterprises) ## Related Articles - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs)
