You'll own the technical post-sales journey - from initial implementation through go-live and beyond - ensuring customers successfully architect their billing integration and get value from Orb as quickly as possible. You'll work directly with customers to understand their pricing models, map their business logic to Orb's platform, and guide them through complex implementation decisions. When you spot friction that's slowing customers down, you'll partner with the engineering side of our broader product/engineering team to advocate for improvements that solve problems at scale. This role is ideal for someone who loves going deep on customer problems, can navigate technical complexity without needing to write production code, and wants to directly shape how customers experience Orb. In this role, you will: * Lead implementation kickoffs and technical discovery to understand customer pricing models, data architecture, and integration requirements * Design and recommend approaches that map complex business logic-usage-based pricing, hybrid models, credits, commitments-to Orb's capabilities * Guide customers through API design decisions, event ingestion patterns, webhook configuration, and invoice customization * Troubleshoot implementation challenges and unblock customers when they get stuck * Serve as the ongoing technical point of contact for strategic accounts * Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term customer health * Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, finance, and product teams * Identify patterns where multiple customers hit the same friction points and advocate for product improvements * Contribute to documentation, best practices, and reference architectures that accelerate future implementations, At Orb, we believe great engineers can learn any stack, so you do not need experience with these specific tools, and we encourage you to apply regardless. * Frontend: Typescript + React + Tailwind CSS * Backend: Python * Datastores: PostgreSQL + Apache Druid+ Clickhouse * Streaming Platforms: Kafka + Spark Streaming * Cloud Platform: AWS ## Related Videos - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Beyond Webhooks: The Future of Scalable API Event Delivery](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100312-beyond-webhooks-the-future-of-scalable-api-event-delivery) - [Throwing off the burdens of scale in engineering](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/608-throwing-off-the-burdens-of-scale-in-engineering) - [Build and Deploy a Fullstack App with Open Source Tooling](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/775-build-and-deploy-a-fullstack-app-with-open-source-tooling) - [The Vonage Trivia Voyage: Quiz Your Way to the Top!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/761-the-vonage-trivia-voyage-quiz-your-way-to-the-top) - [Creating bots with Dialogflow CX](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/587-creating-bots-with-dialogflow-cx) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [How to Answer the Interview Question: “Why Do You Want to Be a Software Engineer?”](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/392-how-to-answer-the-interview-question-why-do-you-want-to-be-a-software-engineer)
