## About the Role

* Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent degree. Master's degree a plus
 * 8+ years building distributed & scalable software systems.
 * Proficient in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python , Java, etc.

 * Experience building large, distributed, and scalable software systems.
 * Familiarity with, and passion for Kubernetes and related technologies.
 * Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging skills.
 * Experience with networking and security controls is a plus
 * General TCP/IP networking knowledge
 * Unix/Linux programming environment experience

## Description

* You will build a new, unprecedented way to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation down to the application / pod level, identifying easily blocking pathways of attacks in the container ecosystem
 * You will understand and enhance modern container platforms such as Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE etc.
 * You will have the opportunity to own and design critical features and subsystems, work out all the details, and defend the design before your peers.
 * You will deliver a rock-solid implementation that is elegant, simple, scalable, stable, secure, and supportable. Our product protects the critical infrastructure of large enterprises. It must work.
 * You will also mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns to help them grow as engineers and become productive members of the team.
 * You will have the opportunity to work with the field organization and key customers to shape this novel product.
