Assist subject matter experts with gap analysis/process definition and system enhancements. Provide high-level service for break-fix incidents and requests. * Technical Solution Building:Build a technical solution by taking business requirements and configuring the systems to support the business requirements. Navigate multiple layers of governance, including cybersecurity governance and process, procedure protocol governance. * Collaboration and Communication:Establish collaborative relationships with various project stakeholders. Describe concepts in simple business parlance and in more granular detail for technical teams. Work across multiple business areas to integrate technical solutions into business processes, including Supply chain operations, Information Security, Enterprise Systems (SAP/MS Active Directory), basic Payroll best practices, and technical/executive level Crisis Communications. Emphasize the need for a supply chain-focused IT expert (Payroll / Crisis communications are bonuses)., The Solution Analyst is responsible for ensuring technology solutions address business requirements and achieve the identified business outcomes. This position primarily designs and configures platforms to support business requirements. The job may also document requirements in business requirements documents (BRD) and functional specifications., * System Configuration and Design:Configure and design systems to meet business needs. Understand emerging technologies and identify opportunities to automate and standardize business processes. Assist with educating the IT team on the goals of the business. Facilitate communication and alignment between functions and IT from the gathering of initial requirements to final implementation. * Documentation and Training:Develop business and technical process documentation and training materials. Apply system solutions to business requirements through the design and configuration of systems platforms such as ECC and Salesforce and integrated applications. * Interaction and Service:Interact with processing teams, vendors, and other teams and systems integrated with systems platforms. Assist subject matter experts with gap analysis, process definition, and system enhancements. Provide high-level service for break-fix incidents and requests. * Data Management:Responsible for data migration, archiving, and reconciliation as needed. Work on multiple tasks or projects of medium size complexity. * Leadership and Mentorship:Act as a subject matter expert and coach more junior staff. Perform code review to ensure standards are adhered to. Mentor in coding best practices, configuration best practices, technical design, and quality assurance. * Solution Development:Collect required information to develop work scope around solutions to meet customer requirements. Communicate systems and procedural changes to end users through excellent written and oral communications. Lead small work components related to projects. * Assessment and Problem-Solving:Assess situations, determine the problem(s), and propose solutions that provide value to the business. Support and sometimes drive the definition of project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements. Assist with project budget needs. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions as directed. * Requirements Documentation:Gather and document business requirements in business requirements documents (BRD). Convert BRD to functional specifications according to the platform being configured. * Team Collaboration:Establish and maintain relationships with team members within IT and across functional teams.
