Required skills: * Expertise with enterprise-level networking infrastructure. * Clear understanding of the TCP/IP and OSI models. * Familiar with common enterprise network cabling standards (copper, fiber). * Ability to respond to customer tickets in support of system and network outages. * Advanced knowledge of network troubleshooting of escalated issues with intermediate and endpoint systems. * Experience with installation, management, and monitoring enterprise network switches, routers. * Ability to create, navigate within, and update the network configurations and routes. * Experience using network management tools/systems: * + WAN, LAN + Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco, or equivalent + Optical networks * Ability to recommend changes to methods or processes. * Occasionally leads technical teams and participates in planning, conducting, and reporting on projects. * Good practices in documenting work performed (including issues) in service requests to service leads, management and/or transitioning work to another team. * Customer service and joint team building skills * Ability to articulate technical projects verbally and in writing. * Demonstrate effective communication skills using tact and courtesy. * Knowledge of ITSM framework * Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously is required. * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Core competencies include software, testing and requirements engineering, software and system architecture, to support our vision to provide accurate, timely and auditable data while partnering with our business partners to integrate IT into their business strategy.
