## About the Role

* 5+ years in MSP or IT consulting environments
 * Strong Windows Server / Active Directory administration
 * Hands-on Office 365 and Azure experience
 * Solid networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls)
 * VMware or Hyper-V virtualization experience
 * Experience managing corporate firewalls and backup platforms

## Description

 * Extreme ownership of issues until full resolution
 * A methodical troubleshooting approach
 * Willingness to assist teammates when they are stuck
 * Strong documentation practices in ITGlue
 * Understanding of full client environments beyond assigned tickets
 * Clear communication with both clients and internal teams
 * A commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Engineers on our team do not wait for work to be assigned. They proactively review the queue, collaborate with teammates, and help drive problems to resolution.
What you'll do

 * Lead Office 365 migrations and Azure infrastructure deployments for clients
 * Support and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking (VLANs, SonicWall firewalls)
 * Own escalated technical issues end-to-end - you're the person other engineers bring the hard problems to
 * Keep client documentation current in IT Glue
 * Participate in an on-call rotation (paid stipend + on-call rate) [confirm and insert actual on-call compensation]
 * Work directly with clients as a trusted advisor, not just a ticket-closer
