## Description

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative IT team responsible for the technical design, performance, and execution of our mission-critical enterprise systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, is passionate about technology, and is excited to ensure the security, availability, and reliability of systems that support thousands of members.

You won't just "keep the lights on"-you'll directly impact how we serve our members by optimizing technology, strengthening our infrastructure, and driving innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

 * Manage day-to-day operations of the credit union's host computers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
 * Implement, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, servers, and storage hardware.
 * Partner with vendors and IT leadership on technical projects and problem resolution.
 * Support new system implementations through testing, training, and documentation.
 * Troubleshoot system issues, lead problem-solving efforts, and oversee upgrades.
 * Maintain secure and reliable IT infrastructure through patch management, backup processes, and disaster recovery planning.
 * Provide cross-functional technical support, including assistance with phone system programming and LAN administration.
 * Contribute to IT audits and compliance, recommending best practices to reduce risks and strengthen cybersecurity.
