## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
 * 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant work across both front-end and back-end web application development.
 * Proven experience designing, building, and operating scalable, reliable services and user-facing features in a modern cloud environment.
 * Demonstrated experience collaborating in cross-functional, agile teams and influencing technical direction for complex projects.
 * Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

## Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on ZHL OS, you'll own significant surface area of the operator experience end to end. This role leans front-end: you'll shape our micro-frontend architecture, our shared component patterns, and the data-fetching layer that ties dozens of independently-deployed experiences into something that feels like one product.

Experience is important, but equally valuable is the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to ensure that our solutions meet the defined requirements and make our users' lives easier. We are seeking to find an ambitious individual who can make an impact as both a leader and individual contributor by raising the quality of our products to the highest level.

You will get to

 * Architect, develop, and maintain full stack web applications and services, spanning modern front-end frameworks and scalable back-end APIs and data stores.
 * Lead design and implementation of complex features from concept through deployment, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
 * Collaborate closely with product, design, data, and adjacent engineering teams to refine requirements, break down work, and deliver high-impact solutions iteratively.
 * Establish and advocate for engineering best practices in code quality, testing, observability, CI/CD, and incident response, and model these standards in day-to-day work.
 * Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing, helping elevate overall team capability.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems, using data and diagnostics to improve system health, user experience, and operational efficiency.
