This is a true ground-floor opportunity: you'll shape the app itself, from its architecture to its craft to how it feels to use, and help grow a mobile team from here. You'll have real ownership from the start, making the foundational technical and product decisions that shape how the app is built and where it goes. We're looking for a deeply product-minded engineer who cares about user experience as much as code. You have a real eye for polish and interaction detail, you sweat the small things that make an app feel effortless, and you partner naturally with design and product to get there. We build with AI coding tools, and we want someone who's leaning into them, using them to prototype, iterate, and ship faster without compromising on craft. What you'll do * Own and shape our iOS app end to end: architecture, state, navigation, offline, and App Store delivery * Design and build polished, high-craft user experiences in Swift and SwiftUI, in close partnership with design and product * Make foundational technical decisions early, and re-architect where it's the right call, to set the app up to scale * Use AI coding tools to prototype and ship quickly, raising both velocity and quality * Partner with product and design leadership to take early versions of the app to production and beyond * Help establish the standards, tooling, and practices for mobile as we grow the team ## Related Videos - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [40 Minutes to Build a Serverless COVID-19 REST and GraphQL APIs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/208-40-minutes-to-build-a-serverless-covid-19-rest-and-graphql-apis) - [Xcode development redefAIned](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100195-xcode-development-redefained) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) - [Edge AI on iOS: Beyond the Cloud, Designing the Next Generation of Intelligent On-Device Apps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100225-edge-ai-on-ios-beyond-the-cloud-designing-the-next-generation-of-intelligent-on-device-apps) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [A Guide to Choosing the Right Tools for App Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/391-a-guide-to-choosing-the-right-tools-for-app-developers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Dev Digest 118 - not a total recall](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/452-dev-digest-118-not-a-total-recall)
