## About the Role

* 2+ years of professional experience building and shipping production Android apps.
 * Strong Kotlin expertise with demonstrated use of Jetpack Compose and modern architecture patterns (MVVM or Clean Architecture).
 * Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications (not solely B2B).
 * Proficiency with Android testing strategies - unit, instrumentation, and UI tests.
 * Experience integrating Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
 * Familiarity with backend data formats and APIs used in mobile apps: protobufs, REST, and gRPC.
 * Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development.
 * Demonstrated mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior engineers.
 * Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
 * Background in fintech, personal finance, or consumer mobile apps is a plus.

## Description

We're looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to join a small, product-focused team building a consumer fintech mobile app. You'll have a meaningful impact on the product's direction and user experience, working closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality features at scale., * Design, implement, and maintain a consumer-facing Android application used in production.

 * Contribute to platform-level architecture and help scale core infrastructure.
 * Solve problems pragmatically, balancing speed and quality in a fast-moving environment.
 * Contribute to product design and direction decisions alongside cross-functional teams.
 * Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
 * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the Android team.
