* 20+ years of software engineering experience, with deep experience in system design and architecture
 * Proven track record designing and evolving distributed or scalable systems
 * Broad experience in AWS cloud architecture, with the ability to design and implement complex data plane and control plane systems
 * Comfortable going deep technically while influencing broadly
 * Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
 * Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly
 * Experience with data pipelines, highly scalable systems, cloud native architectures and services
 * Experience in Cyber Security is a bonus

## Description

* Own and evolve system architecture across our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability
 * Partner closely with engineering and product teams to design systems that balance speed of delivery with long-term flexibility
 * Lead high-impact technical decisions, including trade-offs across performance, cost, and complexity
 * Translate ambiguous business or product needs into clear technical approaches and system designs
 * Identify architectural gaps, technical debt, and scaling bottlenecks, and drive solutions proactively
 * Act as a technical mentor and thought partner across teams

AI & Emerging Technology Focus:

 * Explore, evaluate, and apply AI tools, frameworks, and workflows to improve both our product and internal development velocity
 * Stay current with advancements in AI development and help the team adopt them pragmatically
 * Contribute to building a culture of curiosity and experimentation around AI across the organization
 * Adopt and drive an AI-first approach to software development cycle, design principals and product capabilities
