## About the Role

* Strong Kubernetes experience (GKE/EKS/AKS or OpenShift preferred)
 * Expertise in at least one programming language.
 * Good understanding of network complexities and architectures
 * Versatile Terminal and CLI user, this will be a hands-on role, frequently without access to a GUI
 * Experience setting up and troubleshooting distributed systems
 * Experience with complex SaaS infrastructure operating at scale
 * Experience with at least one major cloud provider API/tooling
 * Ability to read code
 * Work effectively with git
 * Cloud-native data architecture experience
 * Strong customer facing skills
 * Strong oral and written communications skills - should be able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical folks succinctly

Bonus points if you have:

 * Prior experience using or administering Apache Airflow, Autosys, UC4, Temporal, Dagster, or Prefect
 * Proficiency in Python/Go.
 * Enterprise data experience with or in regulated environments
 * Experience with scripting/automation specifically infra (Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
 * 5+ years experience in a data engineering role or equivalent
 * 3+ years in a customer-facing role
 * Experience with ElasticSearch/Prometheus/Vault

Although this role is remote you need to be able to cover EST working hours and travel for customer and internal meetings.
