## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.

Experience

 * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering design or related field.
 * Proven track record of working on transportation, site development, or municipal projects.

Technical Skills

 * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
 * Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards, including AASHTO and local regulations.
 * Competence in project management tools and techniques.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
 * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
 * Collaborative mindset with leadership qualities to mentor junior staff and contribute to a team-focused environment.
 * Availability to travel for site investigations, client meetings, and project support as required., * Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within the next year .
 * Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
 * Experience with permitting processes and working with local, state, or federal agencies.
 * Familiarity with GIS tools and advanced modeling software.

## Description

* Develop detailed designs, plans, and specifications for infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, site grading, and utility networks.
 * Perform complex engineering calculations and analyses, such as hydrology, structural loads, and geotechnical considerations, to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
 * Manage project components, including design schedules, budgets, and deliverables, under the guidance of senior engineers or project managers.
 * Oversee and review the work of junior engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and quality.
 * Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project needs, resolve challenges, and obtain necessary approvals.
 * Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
 * Stay current on advancements in civil engineering technology, tools, and regulations to enhance project outcomes.
