This role is best suited for a detail-oriented Salesforce tester who can independently develop and execute test scripts, identify functional issues, and help ensure Salesforce delivers a high-quality user experience. ## Description * We are seeking a Salesforce Tester to support manual testing in Salesforce implementation project. * The primary responsibility of this role is to perform comprehensive functional testing of Salesforce features and business processes, integrations and data migrations. * The tester will work closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, MuleSoft developers, data migration teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that Salesforce functionality meets business and technical requirements. Major Responsibilities * Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. * Create detailed test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and manual test scripts. Execute functional, system, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and negative testing for Salesforce functionality. * Test Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, flows, approvals, reports, dashboards, and user access, as applicable. * Validate business processes and user journeys across Salesforce. Prepare and manage test data required for functional testing. * Execute test scripts and document test results, evidence, and overall test status. * Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. * Perform defect retesting and regression testing following configuration or code changes. * Participate in defect triage, sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release readiness discussions. * Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, coordinating execution, and assisting business users with issue resolution. * Perform integration testing to validate data flows between Salesforce, MuleSoft, the legacy application, and other connected systems.
