## About the Role

* Bachelor's/Master's degree in industrial engineering or software engineering
 * Strong experience in C/C++; ambition to grow into Rust is a plus
 * Hands-on experience with ROS2
 * Experience with Matlab/Simulink is a nice-to-have
 * A genuine R&D mindset, with curiosity to explore and improve
 * Result-driven, with a good sense of humour and a strong team spirit
 * Stress-resistant, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative
 * Good command of Dutch and English

## Description

* Contribute to the rewrite of our robotics application software onto a new platform
 * Optimise, expand, and maintain our embedded software landscape
 * Code in C/C++ or Rust
 * Apply your robotics experience to contribute to a new architectures, with a focus on Model Based Design
 * Analyse, test, and debug software to ensure reliability and performance
 * Train and support end users, primarily in Belgium with occasional travel abroad
 * Maintain clear, thorough documentation to support the team and future development
