You'll join the Web Platform team, reporting to [Hiring Manager Name], [Title], with a mandate to give that architecture the structure it needs to support the next phase of growth. This role exists because the product surface area - dashboards, campaign tools, reporting, real-time data - has outgrown ad hoc patterns, and someone needs to own the fix. You'll get a rare mix: the technical depth of defining state management and component architecture from scratch, the influence of setting standards a whole team will use, and direct collaboration with design to close the gap between Figma and production. If you want to shape how a fast-growing product gets built rather than just build features on top of it, this is that role., * Define a scalable approach to frontend state management across the application * Establish frontend coding standards and development patterns for the team * Set clear boundaries between UI components, business logic, state, and data fetching * Lead technical decisions on frontend architecture and explain the trade-offs behind them Build & Improve * Improve maintainability, testability, and performance of the frontend codebase * Build reusable components that raise consistency across the product * Contribute to backend services and APIs when the work calls for it Design Systems & Collaboration * Drive adoption of the design system across product surfaces * Turn Figma designs into production-ready experiences with designers * Explore AI-assisted workflows that speed up design-to-implementation handoff Team Impact * Review code to raise the frontend bar across the team * Mentor engineers on frontend architecture and best practices ## Related Videos - [Build and Deploy a Fullstack App with Open Source Tooling](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/775-build-and-deploy-a-fullstack-app-with-open-source-tooling) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [To New Frontiers: The Future of Frontend Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/404-to-new-frontiers-the-future-of-frontend-development) ## Related Articles - [The Best 7 Frontend Frameworks for Developers in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/400-the-best-7-frontend-frameworks-for-developers-in-2025) - [What’s the Difference Between Frontend and Backend Development?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/240-what-s-the-difference-between-frontend-and-backend-development) - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [React Developer Salary [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/198-react-developer-salary-2023) - [Frontend Developer Salary in Germany [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/195-frontend-developer-salary-in-germany-2023)
