## About the Role

* Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
 * Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
 * Proven expertise with Terraform.
 * Commercial experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
 * Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
 * Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
 * Bash Scripting and Python automation experience.
 * Solid understanding of IAM and cloud security principles.
 * Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
 * Exposure to monitoring, logging and observability tools.
 * Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

## Description

We are partnering with a leading government programme to recruit an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join a highly skilled cloud engineering function. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation programme, helping to design, automate and support secure cloud environments that underpin critical public sector services.
Working closely with architects, developers and security specialists, you will play a key role in building scalable cloud platforms, enhancing deployment capabilities and driving DevOps best practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

 * Design, implement and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
 * Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
 * Build, optimise and support CI/CD pipelines utilising GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
 * Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
 * Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions to improve platform visibility.
 * Automate operational and deployment processes using Python and Bash Scripting.
 * Ensure platform reliability, scalability and high availability.
 * Maintain security, compliance and governance standards across cloud environments.
 * Support DevSecOps and Platform Engineering initiatives.
 * Collaborate with technical teams, providing guidance and best-practice recommendations.
