This full-time position is responsible for the physical assembly, integration, cabling, and installation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IT hardware into fixed and tactical rack configurations in support of government programs. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, mission-focused, and capable of working within a structured, security-conscious environment., * Demonstrated experience building and terminating Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables * Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams, wiring schematics, rack elevation drawings, and connection matrices * Proficiency with standard hand tools, cable testers, and fiber optic test equipment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced integration environment Preferred Qualifications * CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent technical certification * BICSI Installer 1 or 2 certification (copper and/or fiber) * Experience with tactical or ruggedized IT systems and military-grade equipment enclosures * Familiarity with DoD IT programs, government property accountability, and configuration management processes * Experience supporting DoD integration facilities, test ranges, or military installations * Knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, or other applicable military standards is a plus Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs * Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in non-climate-controlled environments as required * Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods during installation activities * Manual dexterity required for cable termination and fine hardware work Required Education and Length of Experience High School Diploma (or equivalent) 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT hardware installation, integration, or structured cabling Travel Requirements Travel up to 30% is required. U.S. Citizenship Requirements Due to our contracts with the U.S. federal government and the requirement for a security clearance for this role, candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens.
