## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with at least 10 years of experience
 * In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, two additional years of related experience may be substituted (12 years total).
 * A Master's degree may be substituted for two years of experience; a PhD may be substituted for four years of experience.
 * Demonstrated excellence in direct customer engagement, with a strong ability to build client trust, rapidly triage user issues, and translate operational feedback into clear engineering requirements.
 * Experience with geospatial software development and concepts (e.g., Rasterio, Fiona, Shapely, OpenLayers, GDAL)
 * Proficiency in Python
 * Experience using Git, GitLab, Bitbucket or other software development lifecycle management tools
 * Experience with fast, iterative development cycles and an ability to adapt to shifting requirements
 * Travel up to 10%
 * Must have and maintain a current active security clearance (TS/SCI), * Cloud Experience (AWS or equivalent)
 * Experience developing and conveying software system architectures
 * Experience with JavaScript, Java, Go or C#.

Operating on the front lines as an extension of engineering, you will deliver rapid software remediations and technical solutions directly to the customer. By translating operational challenges into actionable, customer-driven feedback for the software team, you will directly shape the future roadmap and continuous quality of our platform.
