You will work on advanced controller-operated digital and analog electronics, contributing throughout the full product lifecycle from concept and design through qualification and documentation. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge high-technology applications in a fast-paced environment, with potential eligibility for a sign-on bonus based on experience, qualifications, and role requirements. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain controller-operated digital and analog electronic hardware for embedded systems used in aerospace and defense applications. * Recommend and implement hardware solutions that improve system performance, reliability, and engineering practices. * Guide mechanical engineering activities related to hardware packaging and board layout to ensure robust, manufacturable designs. * Support product development across all phases, including requirements definition, detailed design, parts selection, qualification, and documentation. * Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation such as specifications, schematics, PCB layouts, bills of materials (BOMs), and qualification reports. * Assist with the development and testing of PC-based graphical user interfaces (GUIs) used for hardware control and diagnostics. * Develop test plans, execute tests, analyze test results, and contribute to the design of test stand equipment to validate hardware performance. * Coordinate hardware releases, upgrades, and custom interface solutions, ensuring thorough technical reviews and configuration control. * Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues and drive projects to completion. * Use electronic test equipment to verify, troubleshoot, and optimize hardware designs in a hands-on, practical manner. ## Related Videos - [Beam Me Up, Java!
