## About the Role

* A Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
 * This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
 * 5+ years of experience with Java
 * 3+ years of experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
 * Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot
 * Experience with API development, including REST architectural style
 * Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Bitbucket, or Jenkins
 * Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development
 * Experience with Linux OS and Command Line Interface
 * Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date

Desired Qualifications:

 * Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles
 * Experience with DevOps technologies
 * Experience with CI/CD technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT
 * Experience with Agile development or Scrum
 * Knowledge of non-relational databases, including MongoDB
 * Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Kafka
 * Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
 * Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
 * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
 * Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

## Description

Provide TS/SCI Java software development of modules. Some of these techniques include but are not limited to event-driven or state-driven programming, error logging, and exception handling.

 * Perform TS/SCI software analysis, architecture, engineering, and integration services at the unit, module, and system levels.
 * Perform all aspects of software engineering support required to implement systems.
 * Adhere to open standards and modern software development methodologies, including what is considered 'best' practices by Industry to the extent that operational requirements will allow.
 * Provide technical reports, white papers and other documentation as required to documents findings of all software engineering service activities.
