Assists in maintaining the district's wired and wireless network environment, telecommunications systems, and network-connected infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and service availability across schools and district facilities. The Network Operations Technician serves as an entry-level network infrastructure professional responsible for supporting the operation of district network systems while developing technical expertise in networking,telecommunications, and infrastructure operations., 1. Assists in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure equipment, including switches, wireless access points, routers, and related devices. 2. Monitors network performance and assists with identifying and resolving connectivity issues affecting schools and district facilities. 3. Supports deployment, replacement, and maintenance of network equipment and communications infrastructure. 4. Assists with telecommunications systems, voice services, and related communications technologies. 5. Performs basic network diagnostics and troubleshooting activities and escalates complex issues asappropriate. 6. Assists with network inventory management, equipment tracking, and documentation activities. 7. Supports district technology projects involving network infrastructure and communications systems. 8. Maintains documentation related to network equipment, configurations, and operational procedures. 9. Works collaboratively with Network Administrators, field technicians, and service delivery teams to support district operations. 10. Participates in planned maintenance activities, infrastructure upgrades, and technology deployments. 11.
