## About the Role

* 3+ years' experience in a network engineering position.
 * Thorough knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls
 * Must be able to use/configure/troubleshoot/operate Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and/or HP network devices.
 * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
 * Must be a US citizen
 * Active Top Secret Clearance

## Description

* Support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
 * Analyzing and recommending network requirements.
 * Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
 * Analyzing network workload.
 * Monitoring network capacity and performance.
 * Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
 * Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
 * Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.
 * Other duties as assigned, The expected annual salary range: $135k - $150k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
