## Description

Design, build, test and maintain software components and integrations that support ESCS capability delivery. The Developer works within a multidisciplinary agile team and follows approved architecture, engineering, security and quality standards.

The role you will play:

 * Turn agreed stories and designs into working, supportable software.
 * Collaborate with colleagues across analysis, architecture, testing, data and infrastructure.
 * Contribute to a healthy engineering culture through review, documentation and continuous improvement., * Develop and maintain applications, APIs, integrations and supporting components.
 * Write clean, secure and testable code using agreed patterns and standards.
 * Create and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration test automation.
 * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, estimation and backlog refinement.
 * Use Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy changes.
 * Investigate defects and support root-cause analysis.
 * Maintain technical documentation and contribute to operational readiness.
 * Continuously improve knowledge of the platform, domain and engineering toolchain.
